About Banque Hottinguer

The history of our institution is intimately linked to the one of our majority shareholder: the Hottinguer family.

The Hottinguer family’s tradition in the banking sector dates back to 1786 when Jean-Conrad Hottinguer (1764-1841) established his bank in Paris.

The journey has been continuing for six generations carrying out an ambitious project: an independent bank dedicated to its customers and aiming for excellence.

Preserving the family heritage, Jean-Philippe Hottinguer associated with his cousins François and Emmanuel, founded in 1989 the financial services boutique HR, which became in 2006 HR Bank, in 2007 Jean-Philippe Hottinguer & Cie Bank, and in 2012, Hottinguer Bank.
